What is your style like? What kind of video/content can I expect?​

Some words that could describe our style are: cinematic, authentic, true colors, personalized, emotional... But it's truly difficult to put into words what one must see with their eyes to understand. The demo video on the home page of this site can give you an example of our visual style, but if you'd like to see examples of our videos, just fill out the contact form and we'll be happy to share with you!
Are your film packages customizable?​

Yes! We are happy to work with all budgets/needs/styles, so please reach out to us for a quick consultation so we can work out a film package that's just right for you!
Do you provide drone coverage? Does it cost extra?​
​
Drone coverage is provided at no extra cost with all our packages, but we can only fly when/where it is allowed, and safe to do so. Most wedding venues in Hawaii are drone-friendly, so we are able to successfully fly in about 90% of our weddings. In instances where weather or other conditions make it impossible to fly on the day of your wedding, we can always return at a later date to shoot some aerial shots of the location.
How soon can I expect to receive my wedding film? Why do I have to wait so long?​

We typically promise delivery within 3 months, unless you opt for the "Priority Delivery" add-on, in which case we can edit and deliver your wedding film within 2-3 weeks. Vertical content for all packages is usually delivered within 1-2 weeks of your wedding. We understand that you are anxious to see your wedding film/content, but it takes several days to go through the footage and organize/curate everything, pick out music, and then several more days/weeks of planning, editing, and revising. Keep in mind that we have a busy schedule of other weddings to shoot, so there can sometimes be a backlog. However, we NEVER rush through a film edit just to meet a delivery deadline- if it's going to take longer than the promised 3 month window to deliver your wedding film, we will let you know and keep you updated. Quality always takes precedence.
How does your pricing compare to other wedding filmmakers in Hawaii?​

It's hard to compare our pricing directly with other film/photo companies because every company offers a distinct level of service, experience, deliverables, style, and so on. However, we believe that our pricing generally falls somewhere in the middle range for wedding film services, with a wide array of packages/customization to suit most couples.
Do you do content creation as well as traditional videography?​
​
Content creation (phone video/photo) is an add-on service that we charge for by the hour. This service can be handled by our second videographer or by a dedicated "iPhoneographer." If you are interested in wedding content for your social media, we highly recommend using us, or your wedding photographer (if they provide this service) rather than a third-party provider. Wedding day coverage can be hectic, and with a full team of photographers and videographers chasing you around, adding a third-party content creator can make communication and teamwork rather tricky. That's why we recommend hiring a content creator who is already part of your photo or video team.
